The Department of Water Resources,  in coordination with the Central Valley Flood Protection Board staff, has compiled a document with draft responses to public comments on topics to be discussed at the Board’s June 9th workshop for the Draft 2017 Central Valley Flood Protection Plan (CVFPP) Update (PDF: 26 MB).  The workshop will cover the Conservation Strategy, financing mechanisms, and removal of facilities from the State Plan of Flood Control. The document summarizes the comments received and DWR’s initial recommended responses to them.

 All comments received on the Draft 2017 CVFPP are being reviewed and considered, and a comprehensive comment log and response to comments is anticipated to be released later this year.
