Public Hearing on the Draft 2017 CVFPP Update and Supplemental Program EIR to be held in Sacramento on Friday, February 24, 2017

The draft 2017 Central Valley Flood Protection Plan (CVFPP) Update and draft Supplemental Program Environmental Impact Report (Supplemental PEIR) will be presented from 10 a.m. to noon during the CVFPB’s monthly Board Meeting at the Sacramento City Council Chamber (see agenda for the meeting). The CVFPB, in coordination with the Department of Water Resources, is hosting Public Hearings throughout the Central Valley to present the draft 2017 CVFPP Update, and its accompanying draft Supplemental PEIR. The Public Hearings provide an opportunity to learn about these documents and to provide written or verbal comments. Comments can also be submitted in writing. The deadline for providing comments is March 31, 2017. An informal poster session will follow the Public Hearing from noon to 1:00 p.m. in Room CH1119.  Please join us to learn more, and provide your comments! Greg Harvey has been selected as the Board’s Plan Implementation and Compliance Branch Chief, effective July 1, 2019. Greg has over 18 years of experience in the engineering field and has been with the Board since 2017. Since that time, Greg has played an active role in the coordination with key agencies for the Central Valley Flood Protection Plan Update, managed multiple flood system improvement projects, and acted as PIC Branch Supervisor for nine months. Congratulations, Greg!
