From mavensnotebook.com – “The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers will begin advertising for bids on a Feather River West Levee construction project estimated at $77 million.  According to a staff report published earlier this year by the Central Valley Flood Protection Board, the project would make improvements to approximately 4.9 miles of levee. At the upstream end, the project will tie into the Star Bend setback levee near Tudor Road.
