DWR and CVFPB Compile Draft Responses to Public Comments for July 14 CVFPB Workshop

The Department of Water Resources,  in coordination with Central Valley Flood Protection Board staff, has compiled a document with draft responses to public comments on topics to be discussed at the Board’s July 14 workshop for the Draft 2017 Central Valley Flood Protection Plan (CVFPP) Update (PDF: 26 MB).  The workshop will cover comments related to climate change, remaining CVFPP policy recommendations not covered in past Board workshops, and No-Action Context (comments related to describing the potential consequences of inaction or lack of flood investment). Greg Harvey has been selected as the Board’s Plan Implementation and Compliance Branch Chief, effective July 1, 2019. Greg has over 18 years of experience in the engineering field and has been with the Board since 2017. Since that time, Greg has played an active role in the coordination with key agencies for the Central Valley Flood Protection Plan Update, managed multiple flood system improvement projects, and acted as PIC Branch Supervisor for nine months. Congratulations, Greg!
