CVFPB Presents Resolution of Appreciation to Stacy Cepello

At the CVFPB’s May 19th Board Meeting, Mr. Cepello, who is retiring after 35 years of public service, was presented with the CVFPB’s Resolution of Appreciation. Mr. Cepello, Chief of DWR’s Floodway Ecosystem Sustainability Office, was honored not only for his many years of service and accomplishments working for the Department of Water Resources on environmental, habitat, and conservation issues, but also for his assistance and leadership in development of the Conservation Strategy, a document that is critical to the Board’s adoption of the 2017 Update to the Central Valley Flood Protection Plan. Greg Harvey has been selected as the Board’s Plan Implementation and Compliance Branch Chief, effective July 1, 2019. Greg has over 18 years of experience in the engineering field and has been with the Board since 2017. Since that time, Greg has played an active role in the coordination with key agencies for the Central Valley Flood Protection Plan Update, managed multiple flood system improvement projects, and acted as PIC Branch Supervisor for nine months. Congratulations, Greg!
