Living in California provides us with so many opportunities for a good life, but along with the benefits, comes the risks Mother Nature can throw at us, such as earthquakes, wildfires, drought, and flooding. Californians should be aware of these risks and take action to be prepared to handle them. The State, its relevant agencies, counties, cities and organizations, with help from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, works toward educating the public to the flood risk we face and how to best prepare for it.
