May’s Central Valley Flood Protection Board (CVFPB) workshop was held at the San Luis National Wildlife Refuge Complex near Los Banos. Both the Department of Water Resources (DWR) and CVFPB, along with involved stakeholders, are working hard this year toward completing the 2017 Update of the Central Valley Flood Protection Plan (CVFPP).
At this public workshop, DWR summarized the planning to date, including integration with the Regional Flood Management Plans and Conservation Strategy, and presented and highlighted key findings of the San Joaquin Basin-Wide Feasibility Study (BWFS). The San Joaquin River Basin-Wide Feasibility Study is one of the key supporting documents to the CVFPP Update. Click Here for workshop presentation and documentation.
